Abraham Lincoln knew this first hand!

“The struggle of today is not altogether for today – it is for a vast future also.”

Abraham Lincoln

Our sixteenth President, Abraham Lincoln, knew firsthand about struggles. Three out of his four children died at early ages due to illness. Soon after taking the oath of office, President Lincoln was confronted with an American Civil War. While in office, he also pushed through the Emancipation Proclamation that ultimately led to the Thirteenth Amendment being passed shortly after his assignation. I have a great respect for President Lincoln’s leadership and perseverance during his lifetime and especially during his Presidency. A roadmap for us to follow today!

This is why I felt led to include this famous quote by President Lincoln at the beginning of Far From Home, Chapter 2 of my new book, Solitary Vigilance. www.inheritedfreedom.com
